A couple of weeks ago I walked into my local Stedmans and they had some worsted yarn in school colours.
The first thing I thought of was Gryffindor!!! So I had to buy some. That weekend I bought the whole kit of Knifty Knitters and while visiting my parents I made my own Gryffindor Scarf!!!
It's a really loose knit and not overly wide, at just 13 pegs on the knifty knitter wide. However it worked out almost perfectly for colour blocking. I am so excited to wear it! It almost makes me wish it were colder out!!! I went back and bought more so I could possibly make a hat. I also bought the Black and Yellow of Huffle Puff, since that is my house and I should have some school pride.
